The Thermex Model TM-10-BI (Basic Industrial) S-Band Microwave power generator is based on the design of our larger L-band Microwave Generators to be the most cost effective Industrial S-Band Microwave Power Generator for your money.
The TM-10-BI Generators are built with a maximum output power rating of 10 to 30 kW at 2.45 GHz per each individual unit. The output power is continuously adjustable and is controlled manually or automatically by a command signal of 4-20 mA (or 0-10 VDC). As required by your applications, these generators can produce as little as a few kilowatts of power or as much as their maximum power rating indicates. The Thermex Model TM-10-BI is designed for those applications where basic reliable Microwave power is required at a minimal cost.
The Microwave Generator is housed in a NEMA 12-type cabinet that is designed for free standing or bolting to the floor. The major components located in the generator cabinet such as the magnetron, circulator and electromagnet are water cooled using plant water.
The plant water also cools the water load and the environmentally enclosed cabinet through a water-to-air heat exchanger. This unique Thermex cabinet design isolates the water section of the Microwave Generator from the high-voltage section.
The cabinet has a large hinged access door on the front and a large hinged access door on the back that allows complete access to the interior for ease of inspection, installation and maintenance.
