Thermatron PLC Controlled Traveling Welder

Primarily used on large cumbersome products such as tents, billboards, tarps and pool liners to RF seal fabric up to 120 oz.

The Thermatron Traveling RF welder utilizes our Quantum “F” Series RF generator with sealing power available up to 40 kW mounted to our P55 Deep Throat press assembly.  The “Soft Ride” indexing trolley rides on heavy-duty drive wheels with cushioned treads to insure gentle movement of the press and the generator.

The standard sealing and layout table is 40 feet in length to accommodate most materials.  However, if more length is required, additional 10-foot sections may be added.  The table has a 36-inch front section for material layout with a 6-inch deep trough behind the sealing bar bed plate to accommodate rolled up material.

Our Traveling RF Welder is PLC controlled for total command of the RF generator and the moving carriage system.  Automatic power control equipped with closed-loop positive feedback automatically adjusts RF output power to compensate for changing seal conditions.

The Thermatron Traveling RF welder has many options available such as a seal tape dispenser and guides, vacuum hold-down chambers, cutting station and a Laser light positioning system.
