Thermex Thermatron, LP offers a line of S-Band Industrial Microwave Generators operating at 2450 MHz. Designed for use in a wide range of industrial and laboratory applications, Thermex Generators are rugged, requiring very little maintenance.
The 6 kW to 20kW Microwave Generators are fully self-contained, housing the magnetron, high-voltage circuitry, power supply, water cooling section and necessary controls and system status indicators.
Output power on both units is infinitely adjustable from 0 to the full output power rating of the generator. A closed-loop feed back circuit insures the stability of the Generator’s set output power level.
The Generators can be controlled remotely utilizing a PLC, with a standard 4-20 mA signal or locally by adjusting a potentiometer located on the Generator’s control panel.
A three-port circulator is provided to prevent damage to the magnetron during periods of high reflected power. An optional directional coupler may be incorporated into the system to monitor the reflected power and de-energize the microwave high-voltage circuit if the reflected power level becomes too high.
